Borage seed oil (Borago officinalis), also known as starflower, is uplifting and euphoric. The beautiful, bright blue star-shaped flowers of this wild plant (which originated in Syria) were once floated in the cups of Celtic warriors to give them courage.
Borage oil has the highest gamma-linolenic (GLA) content of any seed oil, even greater than evening primrose. It is used to reduce inflammation, relieve pain, reduce stress, repair and hydrate the skin, and alleviate symptoms of PMS.
Our Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) essential oil is harvested from wild tropical grasses in Madagascar. It not only smells divine – with a sweet, lemony-herbaceous scent supplemented by notes of geranium and rose – but it also confers impressive antiseptic, antiviral, bactericidal, cytophylactic, digestive, febrifuge and hydrating properties.
Blended together, our borage & palmarosa chocolate offers a confidence-boosting, beautifying combination fit for a queen.
