Black cumin seed (Nigella sativa) is known in the Middle East as ‘the seed of blessing’, reflecting its beautifying and health-giving properties. The Egyptian pharaohs – not least Cleopatra and Nefertiti – used the oil as a beauty treatment at least 3,300 years ago. Nourishing and strengthening, it encourages vitality and has a host of topical applications – such as creating healthy skin and lustrous nails. Fittingly, our black cumin seed oil comes from Egypt.

Cardamom essential oil (Elettaria cardamomum) derives from the small, green seed pods known as ‘queen of spices’. Loaded with essential vitamins and minerals, cardamom was used by the Ancient Romans to soothe their stomachs, while the Ancient Egyptians added it to perfumes and incense. Warming, anti-spasmodic and aphrodisiac, our cardamom oil is sourced from Madagascar and Sri Lanka.
